Caddo River Motel

We to found a diamond near the Caddo River in Glenwood. The Caddo River Motel. It's a throw back Motel from before corporate "hotels" changed things and it's been renovated and is awesome. Clean, quiet, fast wifi, comfortable beds, great a/c and everything works. We will definitely stay again. I give Linda an A+ for her diamond.

Felt like home the minute I walked in. Literally. You can tell the owner really puts her heart into the place—it’s got that warm, personal touch you just don’t get with the big chain hotels. So nice to stay somewhere American-owned where you feel genuinely welcome. The vibe was cozy, I felt totally safe, and I’d happily stay here again when passing through. Such a beautiful underrated area. And my furry family member was accepted at hotel also. Big plus when traveling!

Nice little place for the night or for a longer stay. Rooms are big. Little out dated on decro. But it's clean, and that's the charm of the place. Has a play area and nice outside area. You might even catch a Sasquash standing by the bushes. Very nice people that run it.

We were turned away from our usual place because we brought our pup. This place will now be my usual place! Very friendly and nice owner, and the lady helping her was also amazing. Rooms are super clean and cute, and there's a nice lil area for sitting outside or walking your dog. Def will be back!!

Called last minute on the fourth of July and was lucky enough that someone had had to leave early so I got a room! The lady at check in was so friendly and the only downside was the ambulance hub across the road but even that wasn't too bad! There are grills and picnic tables available as well as a full kitchen table in the room with a mini fridge and microwave! I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

We were very pleased with our stay. Our beds were comfortable. The room was CLEAN. The river was very close. The AC was quiet. Linda was very attentive to our needs to ensure the best stay possible. It met all our most basic needs without the more expensive frills.

LOVE THIS PLACE. Have stayed here many times now and keep returning. (See pictures.) Rooms are CLEAN. Beds are comfortable. All rooms have quality black-out window shades. Some bathrooms have recently been remodeled and each room has a cute theme (#2 is a sweet LODGE CABIN feel. Another is a Western theme, etc..) Owner/Manager, Lynda, is delightful, creative and hard-working. She makes her guests feel like friends. Rates are very reasonable. I sometimes bring my two (well-behaved) dogs, and the pet fee is negligible compared to chain motels. Great location, backs up to the woods and the gorgeous Caddo River is nearby. Cabin rentals here are great for families and special occasions. Glenwood is a cute little town, good restaurants, boutiques and less than an hour to Hot Springs. Love it!

Much better room than expected for the great price and location! Clean! Comfortable! Mini fridge and microwave in our room, hot hot water nice shower, too. Friendly, helpful staff- they recommended a really great place to eat fish nearby, too. Can't say enough about how pleasantly surprised we were, dragging in on a foggy night after failing to find a campsite in the daytime. Will be back for sure!
